Dr. Benjamin Gagl's study, "Eye movements during text reading align with the rate of speech production," published in the journal Nature Human Behavior, has provided new insights into speech processing during reading. Using eye-tracking technology, which allows eye movements to be accurately recorded and analyzed, the team of scientists was able to gather empirical evidence that there is a correlation between language and reading skills.
